Woods Wonders and Wildlife--The Cumberland Plateau Nature Trail
The Alliance for the Cumberlands is pleased to announce the completion of the "Woods, Wonders, and Wildlife-The Cumberland Plateau Nature Trail" website.  You can view the website at www.woodswondersandwildlife.com  Over the next few weeks you will be hearing more about this website.  However, it would not have been possible without the combined effort of all of you!  The project has benefited from countless volunteer hours from our State and Federal Partners,  and from non-profits, private businesses, and individuals throughout the region.   We have put to use local photography, and relied on partners for drafting and editing  the content.  Additionally, we have received funding from TWRA's Watchable Wildlife program, from TDEC's RTP Education Fund, from the National Migratory Bird Conservation Act, and from the Benwood Foundation.  We will continue to promote the trail though our recent grant from the USDA Rural Development program.  The end result is something I think we can all be proud of!
