The Palace
Theatre
The
Palace Theatre has been a part of Crossville’s Main Street
for almost 70 years!
Sometimes called “The Jewel of Main Street,” the Palace
Theatre has been restored into a flexible community
auditorium that can show 35 mm classic movies, host concerts
from classical to rock, beauty pageants, school programs and
more.
Built in the late 1930’s, the theatre opened with a grand
celebration on November 21, 1938 featuring the Ronald
Coleman classic movie “If I were King.” The admission to
that first Palace movie was only 31 cents for the best seat
in the house. The Palace remained an integral part of the
community for the next 40 years

The Palace is open for regular functions, but has a flexible
schedule and management will do everything to accommodate
special requests. The Palace Theatre doesn’t just serve
Crossville; it serves Cumberland County, the Cumberland
Plateau and the whole of the East Tennessee area.
The lobby area of the theatre houses a local information
center where people can go to find out about local
attractions.

The Thomas
House Theater
The Thomas
House is a cool and mysterious hideaway resting high atop a
gently rolling hillside on the outer edge of Red Boiling
Springs' city limits. One of the city's oldest and most
beautiful landmarks, it has been a vital part of the
community since 1890.
The Thomas House is proud to present several dinner-theater
productions throughout the year. Guests enjoy dinner before
the play. After dinner, local actors present popular plays
that have usually had long runs on Broadway. It's a fun
evening for all!
